Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Stellar Watch mobile application (the "App"), operated by Nikola Bobić ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use it. Stellar Watch is designed to work without an account — you can use the App without providing your name, email address or any other identifying information.

Location (optional). The App may request access to your device's approximate or precise location to calculate which celestial events are visible from where you are (moon phases, planet rise/set times, eclipse coverage). Location is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

Purchase information. If you buy a Premium subscription or Lifetime access, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple. We receive only an anonymous purchase status from Apple (e.g. whether your subscription is active) — we never see or store your payment card details, name or billing address.

Settings and preferences. Your in-app preferences (such as favorite events or notification choices) are stored locally on your device.

• We do not require or store user accounts.
• We do not collect your name, email address or contacts.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties.
• We do not use advertising or advertising identifiers.

The App displays astronomy and rocket launch data compiled from public and third-party data sources. Fetching this data may involve your device contacting those data providers' servers, which may log standard technical information (such as IP address) as part of serving the request. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you enable notifications, the App schedules local reminders for events you follow. Notification preferences stay on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Because the App stores your preferences locally and we do not operate user accounts, deleting the App from your device removes your locally stored data. To cancel a subscription, use your App Store account settings; deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Since we do not hold personal data about you on our servers, most requests can be satisfied directly on your device — but you are always welcome to contact us with any privacy question or request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and material changes will be announced in the App.
